Seaside Square is our little compound in the middle of Ocean Beach: a front house, two townhomes with balconies and a detached studio, all set around a shared courtyard. Each home has its own entrance, kitchen and bathrooms, so you can book one for a beach weekend or take all four and keep the whole crew together.
The beach is two blocks away and Newport Avenue is one block over, so the car can stay in the garage. Grab coffee, surf, browse the vintage shops, catch the sunset at the cliffs, then meet back in the courtyard for dinner.

Can we book one home or the whole compound?
Both. Each of the four homes can be booked on its own, or you can rent the whole compound for up to 19 guests.
How far is Seaside Square from the beach?
Two blocks. Newport Avenue, with its restaurants, coffee shops and bars, is one block away, and the OB Pier is about an 8 to 10 minute walk.
How many people does Seaside Square sleep?
Up to 19 across 4 homes: the Villa sleeps 6, the East Cove and West Cove townhomes sleep 5 each, and the Sandbar studio sleeps 3.
Is there parking?
Yes, for up to 9 cars. There are 3 driveway spots and 3 private garages that each fit 2 cars tandem. The Sandbar garage has an EV charger. Larger vehicles may need extra care in the garages.
Is it good for family reunions and wedding weekends?
Yes. Everyone gets their own home and bedrooms, and the shared courtyard table seats 20 for group dinners. Parties and events are not allowed, so it works best as the place your group stays.
Can we host a retreat or team trip at Seaside Square?
Yes. Rent the whole compound so your group has four private homes plus the shared courtyard for meals and gatherings. Wi-Fi runs throughout. Parties and events are not allowed.
Are dogs allowed?
Yes, dogs only, up to 2 per home, with a $150 non-refundable pet fee. Dog Beach is a short walk away.
Is there laundry?
Yes. There is a shared laundry room with 2 washer and dryer sets, and the Villa and both townhomes have their own washer and dryer too.
What is the cancellation policy for the whole compound?
Cancel more than 60 days before arrival for a full refund, less a 3% card processing fee. Cancellations within 60 days of arrival are non-refundable, so we recommend travel insurance.
Is there airplane noise?
Ocean Beach is under the San Diego airport flight path, so you will hear planes during the day. There is a flight curfew from 11:30 PM to 6:30 AM, and every bedroom has a sound machine.

The beach shed is stocked with beach chairs, umbrellas, boogie boards, sand toys and wagons to carry it all.

Check dates for the compound- Group stays only
- No parties, events or large gatherings. The property is for registered guests only.
- Quiet hours
- 10 PM to 7 AM. Please respect our neighbors.
- No smoking
- No smoking anywhere on the property, inside or outside. A $700 fine applies to smoking inside.
- Booking guest
- The primary guest must be 25 or older and stay for the whole reservation. No third-party bookings, so reservations cannot be made on behalf of someone else. We may ask for a valid ID.
- Dogs
- Dogs only, up to 2 per home, with a $150 non-refundable pet fee. Extra fees apply for additional dogs. Please clean up after your dog.
- Security cameras
- There are exterior security cameras. Tampering with or covering them is not allowed.
- Cancellation
- Full refund, less a 3% card processing fee, if you cancel more than 60 days before arrival. Cancellations within 60 days of arrival are non-refundable. We recommend travel insurance.
- Rule violations
- Breaking these rules may end the reservation right away without a refund.
