The Villa: a 3 bedroom house in downtown Ocean Beach
A bright, single-level beach house with room for six and parking for three.
The Villa is the front house at Seaside Square, a single-level home with 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and an open living, dining and kitchen space under wood beams. It sleeps 6, so it works well for families, couples traveling together and small groups.
Make coffee with the organic beans in the kitchen, walk two blocks to the beach, and come back to cook dinner at home or grill in the courtyard. The private driveway fits 3 cars, which is rare in the middle of OB.
The Villa is one of four homes on the compound. The house itself is private, while the courtyard, the beach shed and an extra laundry room are shared with guests in the other homes.

House rules and policies.
- No parties
- No parties, events or large gatherings. The property is for registered guests only.
- Quiet hours
- 10 PM to 7 AM. Please respect your neighbors at Seaside Square and on the street.
- No smoking
- No smoking anywhere on the property, inside or outside. A $700 fine applies to smoking inside.
- Booking guest
- The primary guest must be 25 or older and stay for the whole reservation. No third-party bookings, so reservations cannot be made on behalf of someone else. We may ask for a valid ID.
- Dogs
- Dogs only, up to 2, with a $100 non-refundable pet fee. Please clean up after your dog.
- Shared spaces
- The courtyard, beach shed and laundry room are shared with guests in the other homes at Seaside Square.
- Security cameras
- There are exterior security cameras. Tampering with or covering them is not allowed.
- Cancellation
- Full refund, less a 3% card processing fee, if you cancel more than 30 days before arrival. Cancellations within 30 days of arrival are non-refundable. We recommend travel insurance.
- Rental license

The Villa sits at the front of the compound, a few steps from the courtyard, with its own private driveway out front.
The heart of Seaside Square is the courtyard: a long table for 20 under string lights and woven pendants, a large propane grill for burgers after the beach, and a fire table with lounge chairs for slow nights. The beach shed is stocked with chairs, umbrellas, boogie boards, coolers and wagons, so you can walk to the sand with everything you need.

Two blocks to the sand, one block to Newport Avenue.
Ocean Beach is San Diego's most laid-back beach town, and Seaside Square sits right in the middle of it. Walk two blocks to the beach for surfing and sunsets, or one block to Newport Avenue for coffee, restaurants, surf shops, antique stores and live music. Park the car for the whole trip. You will not need it.
Stroll out on the OB Pier, shop the Wednesday farmers market, bring the dog to Dog Beach, and drive five minutes to watch the sun go down at Sunset Cliffs.

Ocean Beach is under the San Diego airport flight path, so you will hear planes during the day. There is a flight curfew from 11:30 PM to 6:30 AM, and we leave sound machines in the bedrooms.
Can I book more than one home for a bigger group?
Yes. You can rent the whole Seaside Square compound, all four homes for up to 19 guests, from our Seaside Square page, or message us to book two or three homes together.
