The Airstream opens onto a spacious deck with a clear view of the lake and the Cuyamaca range. We keep 12 yoga mats there for your group. Morning flows, breathwork, sound baths and sunset meditation all happen here.
Restore Outpost
Sauna, cold plunge and outdoor shower
A traditional sauna facing the mountains, a barrel cold plunge and an outdoor shower, all a few steps apart and private to your group. Build contrast therapy into every day of the retreat.
Cedar Hot Tub
A chemical-free soak above the clouds
The cedar hot tub is chemical free, so your group can soak without chlorine or harsh additives. Look out over the mountains at sunset, then stay for the stars under Julian's certified dark skies. It is the easy way to close every day of the retreat.
Gathering Spaces

Meet around the dining table or by the wood-burning fireplace in the great room. The game room downstairs and the Airstream up the hill give your group quieter corners for one-on-ones, journaling, breakout sessions and integration time.

Retreat planning questions
How many people can attend a retreat?
Up to 12 guests can stay overnight at Wild Moon Ranch: 9 in the cabin and 3 in the Airstream. For larger groups, add Dark Moon Chalet, our A-frame on the same mountain 5 minutes away, which sleeps 10 more for up to 22 overnight guests. Day guests such as instructors, a chef or a massage therapist are welcome with approval, with no more than 17 people on the property at any time. When both homes are booked, your group gathers at Wild Moon Ranch, which is remote on 2 private acres and allows up to 25 people at any time. Dark Moon Chalet sits in a quiet neighborhood, so no more than 10 people may be there at any time.
What retreat packages do you offer?
Three options. The Midweek Retreat is Monday to Thursday, 3 nights, from $3,600. The Weekend Retreat is Friday to Sunday, 2 nights, from $3,400. A Custom Retreat can be any dates or length, including midweek and weekend combined, and is quoted for your group. Every package includes private use of the entire property. Taxes and fees are extra.
Can we book a longer retreat or combine dates?
Yes. Choose a Custom Retreat for a long weekend, a full week or any combination of dates. Email us your dates and we will send a quote.
Can you arrange a chef, massage or yoga instructor?
Yes. We can arrange a private chef, charcuterie boards, desserts, a grocery stock-up, Julian apple pie and cider, a private wine tasting, massage, yoga or a sound bath, breathwork, a cacao ceremony, a pickleball clinic, a guided hike, a stargazing night, a photographer, floral and table styling, branded welcome bags and group transportation. Add-ons are quoted per group.
Is there Wi-Fi for working sessions?
Yes. The cabin and the Airstream each have their own separate Starlink Wi-Fi, so a video call in one space never slows down the other. The Airstream also has a desk. The great room and dining table work well for group sessions.
Are events or parties allowed?
Retreats, workshops and quiet gatherings are welcome. Parties and loud events are not. Noise that can be heard more than 50 feet beyond the property line is not allowed.
Can we use candles or have a fire?
Candles are welcome indoors only. Due to extreme wildfire risk, there is absolutely no smoking, sparks or flames of any kind outdoors, including candles, fire pits, sparklers and cigarettes, on the decks, the court and around Restore Outpost. Battery candles work beautifully for outdoor ceremonies.
How far is it from San Diego and Los Angeles?
Approximately 1 hour from San Diego and about 3 hours from Los Angeles. Downtown Julian is about 20 minutes away and Lake Cuyamaca is 5. The last stretch is a winding mountain road, and the driveway parks 5 or more cars.
Are dogs welcome?
Up to 2 house-trained dogs are welcome for a $150 pet fee per stay. The property is not fenced, so please supervise dogs outdoors.
How does payment work?
If you book more than 45 days before check-in, 50% is due at booking, including the non-refundable $500 deposit, and the balance is due 45 days before check-in. If you book within 45 days of check-in, the full amount is due at booking. Add-ons are billed separately, and we are happy to send a full quote, including add-ons, before you book.
What is the cancellation policy?
A $500 deposit secures your dates. Cancel more than 30 days before check-in for a refund of your payment minus the $500 deposit. Within 30 days of check-in, retreat bookings are non-refundable. The $500 deposit and the 3% credit card processing fee are always non-refundable.
